The idyllic village of Dorfgastein is characterized by its central location and diverse recreational opportunities. Dorfgastein also boasts an impressive mountain backdrop. Furthermore, numerous interesting day trip destinations await you in the surrounding area. Particularly recommended are Burg Klammstein, approximately 4.1 km away, and the Alpentherme Gastein, 9.1 km away.
As soon as the first snowflakes fall, Dorfgastein transforms into a winter wonderland. With its proximity to the Ski Amadé ski area, offering around 860 kilometers of slopes, the focus is naturally on winter sports. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and ice stock sport are just a few of the activities to enjoy. Snow tubing is also available. The snow-covered landscape is best admired on a winter hike, with or without snowshoes, or on a ski tour. Tobogganing is also a special kind of fun.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The Gasteinertal hiking area is located directly behind the hotel. The hiking bus stop is approximately 500 meters away. The Dorfgasteiner Bergbahnen cable car is also about 500 meters away. You can enjoy outdoor activities and the scenery on a cycle path located directly behind the hotel.

The smartHotel offers a total of 30 accommodation units, a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, a lounge, and an e-bike charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an annex building, approximately 100 meters apart. Enjoy culinary delights in the "smartRESTAURANT" restaurant. You can end an eventful day of your vacation in good company at the hotel bar "smartBAR". A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

The bedroom has a double bed, and the living area has a double bed and two single beds.

Dorfgastein

The 5 resorts of Salzburger Sportwelt, Großarltal, Hochkönig, Gasteinertal, and Dachstein together form the Ski Amadé ski area, requiring only one ski pass for all resorts. The winter sports area features perfectly groomed slopes. With floodlights, the slopes can also be enjoyed at night. Various inns and, of course, après-ski options provide social opportunities off the slopes and offer warming drinks and snacks. A snow park and a toboggan run promise plenty of fun.
