The exclusive adults-only hotel (18+ years) has 473 modernly furnished rooms spread across three buildings. The modernly and elegantly furnished Junior Suites feature a bath/toilet with a separate shower, butler service, telephone, flat-screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities, safe, minibar (daily refill), iron and ironing board, bathrobes and slippers, a sofa bed, 24-hour room service (JGB/JGS). In addition to the standard amenities, the suites consist of a bedroom and a separate living area. They also feature a Jacuzzi on the terrace (Y2T).

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). With a double occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children/3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 persons per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Hotels in Mexico are gradually introducing an "Eco-Tax".
This requires every hotel room user in Mexico to pay a state tax in cash at the hotel, similar to a tourist tax.

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time payment of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. It is advisable to carry the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars.

No Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal Information

For stays between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period. This affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can cause some noise.
