Location

The Hotel El Mansour is located directly on one of the most beautiful, gently sloping sandy beaches in Mahdia on the Tunisian east coast. The beach stretches for about 20 km and invites you to take long walks and enjoy swimming. The surrounding area is popular with tourists, and the hotel itself impresses with its elegant Moorish-Andalusian architectural style. The city center of Mahdia is about 3 km away, and shopping facilities are located just approx. 1 km away. A bus stop is 200 m from the hotel. The international airport of Monastir is around 50 km away.

The hotel has 307 rooms, 257 of which are in the main building and 50 in the bungalow area. The bungalow area is approx. 30-100 m from the main building. Hotel amenities include the lobby with reception, an outdoor pool, a children's pool, an indoor pool, a main restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants ("Cape Nao" with Mediterranean specialties, "Sofra" with Tunisian specialties, and "Be Beach" directly on the beach (for a fee)), several bars, and a Moorish café (for a fee). Both part of the rooms and the restaurants were freshly renovated in the summer of 2025.
In the outdoor area, there is a spacious pool with a separate children's pool and 4 slides. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels (for a deposit) are available to guests on the sun terrace. There is a beach bar on the beach. Parasols and loungers are also available.

Double room

These feature a bathroom with shower and separate WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning/heating (seasonal), safe, telephone, mini-fridge (one bottle of water and one soft drink are included upon arrival), and a balcony or terrace (D). Available at an extra charge with pool view (PD) or sea view (DM). Also bookable for single use (DE, DEM, DEP) or as single occupancy with a child (D1K, D1M, D1P).
Optionally also bookable as a super saver room at a special price (limited availability) (SSZ).

Superior Bungalow (from Nov 1st Bungalow Garden View)

The bungalows have the same amenities as the double rooms and additionally include a small garden area. They are located in the second beach row (B12).

Family room

These feature the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious, with an additional bedroom (DF2). Also bookable with a sea view for an extra charge (F2M).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are renovated and impress with a more modern look (DSU, ESU, 1DS). Also bookable with sea view (DMU), for single use (ESU/EMU), and for single occupancy with child (1DS/1SS) for an extra charge.

Breakfast (7 a.m. - 10 a.m.), lunch (12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.), and dinner (6 p.m. - 9 p.m.) are served in buffet form. For the à la carte restaurants, a reservation is required for dinner (restaurants "Cape Nao" and "Al Sofra" included). Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are also included.
Snacks and drinks are continuously available to guests in "Joe's Lounge".

Sports included

The hotel has three tennis courts with free racket and ball rental (tennis lessons and floodlights for a fee). Other sports options include table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, beach volleyball, beach soccer, water polo, bocce, darts, and frisbee. Additionally, there are regular sports tournaments.
In the fitness and wellness area, aerobics, step aerobics, power aerobics, dance aerobics, aqua gym, power stepping, Nordic walking, rope skipping, morning jogging with a guide, and guided walks are offered. There is also a fitness room.
