Location

Particularly popular with regular guests, the Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel is located on the beachfront in Hurghada along one of the region's most popular coastal stretches. The spacious complex is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise waters. Together with the two sister Steigenberger hotels, the resort is located directly on the “ALDAU Art Promenade” with various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. The lively town center of Hurghada, known as "Sakalla," is about 10 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 6 km away.

The generously designed hotel features over 400 modern suites, the majority of which have direct sea views. A luxurious and open-plan lobby awaits you with a reception, seating areas, and two lobby bars. The outdoor area of the complex boasts an extensive pool landscape covering over 5,000m² with a more than 400-meter-long “Lazy River” flowing through the complex, as well as a saltwater pool (heatable) and a “Jacuzzi Island” (16+). The Superior Suites (DM2/DAM approx. 50 m²) have a sea view. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a separate shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, RFID door lock, minibar (replenished daily with water and soft drinks), limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, espresso machine, coffee and tea station with daily refill (each free of charge), telephone, safe, satellite TV (large flatscreen), balcony with chaise lounge.

Superior Suite Sea View 4th Floor

The Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (DLM) have the same facilities as the Superior Suite Sea View and are guaranteed to be on the 4th floor, offering a breathtaking view of the sea.
Optionally also bookable on the 5th floor (DDM).

Family Suite Sea View

The Family Suites (F2M/FA2) have the same facilities as the Superior Suites, but are larger (approx. 55 m²) with a sofa bed, limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, and a sea view.

The View Suite

The View Suite (S2) is approx. 115 m² and equipped with an open bathroom with shower and whirlpool, separate WC, a separate guest WC, RFID door lock, open living area, bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. The suites feature a sea view. The rooms are adults-only.

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2DS), consisting of one large room, are approx. 59m² and additionally feature a dining table, dressing area, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, espresso machine, and a balcony with sun loungers and a sea view.

The Deluxe Suites (SDM) are approx. 142 m² and have one bedroom and a separate living area. Additionally, the Deluxe Suites feature a dressing area and two balconies, each with a table and two chairs, from which you have a wonderful view of the Red Sea.

All Inclusive

Enjoy your breakfast (07:00–10:30), lunch (13:00–16:00), and dinner (18:30–22:00 in summer and 18:00–22:00 in winter) in buffet form, with rotating themed buffets in the evenings at the main restaurant, “Tamarind.” Alternatively, for lunch, the “Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar” offers a lunch menu from 13:00–17:00, or the “Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar” offers a lunch buffet from 12:00–15:00 and a lunch menu from 13:00–16:00. For dinner, in addition to the main restaurant, the following seven à-la-carte restaurants are available once per week with a set selection of delicacies (advance reservation required): “Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar” (Mediterranean cuisine), “Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar” (Oriental cuisine), “Alex Beach Club and Restaurant-Adult Only” (modern fusion cuisine), and 3 restaurants in the “S-Square” on the ALDAU Art Promenade (Asian cuisine). Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served at the currently open bar around the clock. The five bars include the “Karibu Lobby Lounge” with a selection of snacks, sandwiches, and cakes, “Ukumbi Lobby Bar,” “Bwala Pool Bar,” “Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar,” and the “Dewan Café.” A fruit platter awaits you in your room upon arrival, as well as a daily minibar refill with local soft drinks.
