Location

The expansive hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own 400 m long sandy beach. There is a jetty on the beach that makes it easier to enter the deeper water and provides the perfect conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, the Senzo Mall, is approx. 300 m away. The center of Hurghada is about 20 km away, and Hurghada International Airport is about 15 km away.

Facilities

Experience water fun for the whole family in this popular 5-star family resort! The complex is embedded in a beautiful and generously landscaped garden area. Spend a great family vacation and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The hotel complex, which is especially popular with regular guests, has 483 comfortably furnished rooms distributed across several three-story buildings. The main building houses the reception, the Sun Ray lobby bar, and the Giardino buffet restaurant. The extensive and well-kept garden area features a spacious pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and a children's pool with slides; heatable in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own aqua park with twelve different water slides (use from 1.20 m) and a separate area with two children's slides (octopus, snake), which will make the hearts of big and small water fans beat faster.
In addition to the buffet restaurant, the resort offers five delicious à la carte restaurants (Italian, Egyptian, Mongolian, burgers, fusion cuisine (for a fee), reservation required for each) as well as four further à la carte restaurants at the sister hotel "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace", which can also be used free of charge (reservation required for each). Additionally, there are eight different bars available: Sun Ray Bar, Boulevard Bar (for a fee), Amuse Billiard Bar, Victoria Pub, Aqua Bar, Oasis Pool Bar (located at the main pool), Nasaya Beach Bar, as well as a shisha tent (for a fee). Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach. The facilities of the "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort" can also be used.

Superior Double Room

The 45 m² tastefully furnished Superior double rooms (D) feature a telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, coffee and tea maker, seating area, minibar (replenished daily with water, once a week with soft drinks), air conditioning, safe, TV, and balcony or terrace.
Optionally also bookable with pool view (DSP) or side sea view (D2S) or for single use (DE, ESP, 1SD). Also bookable as Type I (DI) at a special price, limited availability.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver rooms (SSZ) have the same facilities as the Superior double rooms, but with limited availability and at a special price.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2/DD1) have the same facilities as the double rooms, are also approx. 45 m² in size and additionally feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a seating area with a side table, and a vanity.
Optionally bookable with pool view (DPB/DPE) or side sea view (DDS/EDD) and as Type I (DDI) at a special price, limited availability.

Katta Family Room

The Katta family rooms (KWF) with bunk beds can be booked as Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms and feature a freshly renovated Katta style (bookable under KWF and DF2).
The rooms include additional amenities for the little ones, such as a Katta-style loft bed, a Katta play corner with beanbags and a small table with chairs, as well as an extra Smart TV with HDMI connection and Katta's height chart on the wall. Furthermore, the electrical outlets are equipped with child safety locks. The bathrooms feature child-sized towel rails and a step stool in front of the sink. With the same facilities as the double rooms, these rooms are also approx. 45 m² in size.
Also bookable as a double room (FR2).
For 2 adults and 3 children, there is only limited space available.

Katta Family Suite

The family suites (2FS/FMK) can be booked as Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms and are renovated.
The suites are approx. 75 m² in size and consist of two separate bedrooms with a parent's bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with two single beds, separated from each other by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with shower. The double rooms with a king-size bed are equipped analogously to the double rooms and feature a Smart TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with two single beds feature a special light display, a dresser with a Smart TV and HDMI connection, as well as a chill-out area with a beanbag. The electrical outlets are equipped with child safety locks, and the bathrooms have a step stool and child-sized towel rails.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not graphically represented in the Katta family suites.
The family suites can also be occupied by 4 adults.

Junior Suite

The junior suites (JS2) are approx. 80 m² in size and consist of a living/bedroom with extra sleeping options and a separate bedroom. The rooms also have a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.
Also bookable for single use (JS1).

The Beach Front rooms (BF2) have the same facilities as the double rooms but are located in the first beach row and have a sea view.

Katta's Miniclub is available for the little guests (3-12 years) in German language and offers play and fun with Katta and his friends. This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of different PlayStation games, as well as a sleeping and chill-out room for the kids' afternoon nap. In the evening, a children's cinema is available to the children in the miniclub. Painting and cooking classes as well as sports activities round off the program. Furthermore, a playground, Katta's children's buffet corner in the main restaurant, and a mini aqua park with a pool are available for the little ones.
