Location

Spend a luxurious holiday with the whole family at the Jaz Aquaviva. The beautiful hotel is located in the popular Madinat Makadi, in immediate proximity to Egypt's largest water theme park, "Makadi Water World". There is water fun here for all ages. You can reach the beach, with its ideal snorkeling and swimming conditions, in approx. 3.5 km via a shuttle bus. The beach bar is there to provide for your culinary needs. Souk Makadi is also easily accessible by shuttle bus. Here you can enjoy Egyptian hospitality in numerous shops and restaurants.
Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away.

Facilities

The modern and friendly "Jaz Aquaviva" features 487 rooms, which are distributed around the complex. The elegant resort also includes a bright reception with seating areas, a hairdresser, and various shops. A buffet restaurant and two à la carte restaurants cater to your culinary needs. There is the "Paprika" with Italian cuisine and the "Felfela" with Arabic cuisine. Both restaurants require an extra charge. Several bars round off the culinary offer. In Madinat Makadi, there are seven further à la carte restaurants that are part of the Dine Around concept.
In the well-tended grounds, there are 5 pools (some can be heated in winter) and 3 children's pools. On the roof terrace, from where you have a wonderful view over the complex, there is an additional adults-only pool.
Sun loungers, pads, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and beach.

Superior Double Room

The modern Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are approx. 34 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, Wi-Fi, vanity mirror, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, minibar (for a fee, but water included daily), electric kettle, coffee and tea-making facilities, safe, and a balcony or terrace.
Also available for single use (DEU).

Superior Swim-Up Double Room

The Swim-Up Double Rooms (DWP) feature the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but have direct access to the sharing pool.
Also available for single use (EWP).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Doubles (DD2) are approx. 43m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the Superior Doubles.
Also bookable as a Deluxe Double Room with pool & bay view (DPB).
Also available for single use (DD1/DPE).

Family Room Garden View

The Family Rooms (DF2) are more spacious (approx. 43 m²) with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms and feature a separate bedroom as well as a living/sleeping area with two sofa beds, separated by a door, with a garden view.
Also bookable with pool & bay view (FP2).

Family Swim Up Room

The Family Swim Up Rooms (FSU) feature the same amenities as the Family Rooms but have direct access to the pool.

These rooms correspond to the Deluxe Double Rooms with garden view (SDX/SED). Also bookable with pool view (PXU/PXS) for an extra charge.

Breakfast from 7-10 am, late riser breakfast from 10:30-11:30 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:30-9:30 pm, each in buffet form in the main restaurant "Amaraya". À la carte restaurants free of charge once per stay upon prior reservation.
Pool restaurant with snacks from 12-4 pm and tea time and ice cream from 4-5 pm. The Beach Bar is open from 10 am-4 pm, the pool bar is open from 10 am-5 pm.
The Lobby Bar is open 24 hours. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10 am-midnight. After midnight, all drinks must be paid for. Alcoholic drinks are only available at the lobby bar.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner; long trousers are mandatory.
