Location

The Old Palace Resort is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach in the popular holiday region of Sahl Hasheesh. The town center with various shopping facilities, restaurants and bars, as well as the marina, is approximately 5 km away. The promenade located directly next to the hotel is especially inviting for evening strolls. Hurghada Airport is about 25 km away.

Facilities

The hotel has 292 rooms spread across a main building and three annex buildings. The complex also features a reception hall with a reception desk, a spa area, a beauty salon, and various shops. Culinary delights are offered in the main restaurant "El Kasr," which serves all meals in buffet style, and in the two à la carte restaurants "Cucina" (Italian cuisine) and "Poncho" (Brazilian cuisine). The offerings are rounded off by five bars where you can get drinks throughout the day.
The well-maintained and spacious garden area features a large main pool and a Jacuzzi pool (heated in winter). Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Double room

The brightly decorated double rooms (D) are approx. 37m² in size and feature individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe, minibar (refilled once a week with soft drinks included), kettle, bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace with garden view. Type I is also bookable (DI).

Double Superior

The Double Superior rooms (DSU) have the same amenities as the double rooms, with pool or partial sea view.
(Additionally bookable under HRGA50 as single occupancy (DSE), with sea view (DMU) and as single occupancy with sea view (DME).

Double Deluxe Sea View

The Double Deluxe Sea View rooms (DM2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47m²) and have a sea view.

Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, tea, and coffee are included from 10 am-11 pm. A small bottle of water, tea, and coffee (kettle) are provided in the room daily.

Dinner can also be taken in one of the two à la carte restaurants. The à la carte restaurants are open on rotation and not every day. They are included only once per stay with a minimum stay of 7 nights.
