Location

The water sports lifestyle hotel is situated in a quiet environment, directly on the hotel's own pebble/sand beach on the beautiful Soma Bay peninsula. The Breakers will make the hearts of every water sports enthusiast beat faster. A magnificent house reef is located directly at the hotel, offering the best diving and snorkeling opportunities. Windsurfers, kitesurfers, and sailors will find ideal conditions here year-round due to the constant wind. On the lagoon, a 420 m long jetty serves as an entry point into deeper water, thereby protecting the coral reefs that grow up to the shoreline. Hurghada Airport is approximately 50 km away.

The popular water sports hotel has a total of 173 modern rooms spread across three floors. The reception is open 24/7. The buffet restaurant "Blue Dolphin" caters to all culinary desires. The diverse offerings are complemented by the rooftop bar with a chill-out roof terrace and the Reef Lounge Bar with a dance floor almost directly by the sea. The beach bar is located directly at the dive center. A heated pool is also available in the well-maintained outdoor area. Sunbeds, mattresses, towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge.

Double Room (D)

The friendly furnished double rooms are approximately 28 m² in size, modern and comfortably equipped with shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini safe, minibar (for a fee), Wi-Fi, and balcony.

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms also offer a sea view.

Young Traveler Room (YTR)

These rooms are equipped like the double rooms and are bookable for young adults aged 18-29. Limited availability and special price.

Lifestyle Room Sea View (LR)

The exclusively designed lifestyle rooms, with similar amenities to the double rooms with sea view, also include the following extras: a hammock on the balcony, bathrobe, espresso machine (two capsules per person per day). Additionally, guests receive a fruit basket once a week and a "The Breakers Sea Bag" per person per stay. The "sea bag" is made of very durable material and can hold the essentials needed for the beach.

Destination information

The entry visa for all travel services booked with Schauinsland-Reisen is not included in the travel price.
Guests have the option to arrange the visa themselves or to purchase it from the Schauinsland-Reisen tour guide upon arrival for €30 (from March 1, 2026, €35) per person.

Seasonal information

In cooperation with our partner "Beach-Academy," we offer beach volleyball camps in the winter. These fee-based beach volleyball camps take place in November, December, and February. All participants are welcome, from absolute beginners taking their first steps in beach volleyball on the sand to top players.
