Product information

Combined product consisting of an Nile cruise on board MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Mondays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be used.

Day 1:
Transfer from Hurghada to Cairo by our luxury VIP bus (approx. 6 hours drive).
Upon arrival at the port, a welcome drink. Check-in on board the ship. Lunch and dinner on board and overnight stay in Cairo.
There is an option for an evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show in the Pyramid area (can be booked on site).
Day 2:
Breakfast on board. Visit the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Return to the ship and departure for Beni Suef (approx. 15 hours drive). Dinner on board and overnight stay in Beni Suef.
Day 3:
After breakfast, optional visit to the Middle Kingdom pyramids of Hawara and Lahoun. Continue to Al Minya City (approx. 15 hours drive). Lunch on board during the journey. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Al Minya.
Day 4:
Breakfast. Visit Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaten" (2), followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Afterwards, return to the ship and lunch on board. Continue to Assiut (approx. 10 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Assiut.
Day 5:
Early morning departure for Sohag (approx. 10 hours drive). In the afternoon, optional visit to the White and Red Monasteries in Sohag. Meals on board and overnight stay in Sohag.
Day 6:
Early in the morning, the ship will cross the Sohag Bridge and continue its journey to Al Balyana (approx. 4 hours drive). After breakfast, possibility to visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2). Afterwards, return to the ship in Al Balyana and continue to Nag Hammadi. Meals on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Option for an excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Hurghada by bus. On the way, you will visit the Temple of the Goddess Hathor in Dendera (1.2) and then continue to Hurghada. A snack lunch is included. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Hurghada.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

The hotel, built in Moroccan style by the renowned Jaz Hotel Group, is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approximately 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity, you will find the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars, perfect for a stroll. The aqua park is about 3 km from the hotel.

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in beautiful gardens and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi offers culinary variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area includes a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

The friendly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities (daily free refill), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. Daily a large bottle of water in the room (free).

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are slightly more spacious at approx. 47 sqm. The sleeping area is visually separated by a curtain.
Also available at an additional charge with pool view (FUP) or sea side (FY2).

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms, with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain.
Also available as Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Deluxe Room

The Family Deluxe Rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Superior Rooms. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sqm) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs, with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms. The Junior Suites are 56 sqm. They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.
