The exclusive Steigenberger Golf Resort is located on a peninsula, surrounded by a dreamlike lagoon with a private lagoon beach and a spacious 18-hole golf course. The turquoise lagoon landscape invites relaxation and unwinding. The well-known Zeytouna Beach on Zeytouna Island, with a 400 m long bathing pier leading into the crystal-clear water, is only about 2 km away. The center of El Gouna with numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, which invite you to stroll and linger, is about 1 km away. Hurghada center is about 30 km away, and Hurghada Airport is about 35 km away.

Facilities

The Steigenberger Golf Resort was extensively renovated in spring 2023 and has shone in new splendor ever since. The exclusive hotel consists of a main building and several annexes. The spacious complex was built in Nubian style and has 268 modern rooms. The hotel offers its guests an elegant lobby with a reception and seating areas. In the extensive and beautifully landscaped gardens, there are two main pools and a children's pool (one of the main pools is heated in winter, the children's pool is heated in winter) with a sun terrace and an inviting pool bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge for guests at the pool and on the lagoon beach. Three restaurants and six bars cater to your culinary wishes. These include the buffet restaurant "Fairways Restaurant" with changing themed buffets and a variety of international specialties, "La Rotisserie" with international dishes, and the "Harumaki Restaurant" with Japanese cuisine (reservations required). Further facilities of the resort include an 18-hole golf course popular with golfers, as well as a spa, wellness, and fitness area.

The Dine-Around program offers guests with Half Board, Full Board, or All-Inclusive a special culinary experience in numerous different Dine-Around options. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12 PM on the same day) is recommended.

Tennis at the El Gouna Tennis Club (floodlights and equipment for a fee).
