Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the programme. The pre-stay and post-stay at the hotel depend on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel and harbour are included.

The itinerary may change depending on the day of embarkation.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 o'clock, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a tour of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Tour of the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6. Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a tour of the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Continue to Esna and tour of the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
8. Day:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. The offer is complemented by a cosy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious Sun deck there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The Sultan Bey is located directly on one of the many lagoons of El Gouna on a peninsula. The downtown area as well as numerous restaurants, bars and shopping facilities are approx. 300 m away. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, a holiday atmosphere is immediate. On the opposite island of Zeytouna is the beautiful public sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" (bathing shoes recommended), which you can reach with the free shuttle boat. A 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", makes access to the deeper water easier here. On "Zeytouna Island", the à-la-carte restaurant and sports facilities can be used for a fee. The complex is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. The airport of Hurghada is approx. 40 km away.

The small and cosy hotel complex is built in a classic Egyptian style. The hotel delights with both beautiful inner courtyards and 115 elegantly furnished rooms, which are spread over the main building and several side buildings. The hotel features an inviting reception hall with a front desk, cosy seating areas and a lobby bar. The main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon provides for your culinary enjoyment. In the well-kept outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable) with an integrated children's pool as well as sun terraces and the pool/snack bar.
