Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay before and after the cruise in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple as well as Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Afterwards, we continue to Aswan, where we will also stay overnight.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Cabin single occupancy

Same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a beautiful saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. It is only a few minutes' walk to the small "Downtown" center with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops (also accessible by a manually operated ferry). Various shopping options are also in the immediate vicinity. Guests have free access to the beautiful sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island", located 700 m away. At the beach, a 400 m long bathing jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads over the reef into deeper water. Explore the breathtaking coral reef while snorkeling from here. The complex is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. The airport in Hurghada is about 40 km away.

Facilities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable for ages 16 and up) delights with a very special style and consists of a three-story main building as well as several outbuildings, where the 144 elegantly furnished rooms are distributed. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with reception. The stylish restaurant "La Cantina" including an outdoor terrace with a view of the lagoon features a live-cooking station and provides you with delicious specialties.
