Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers between locations. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to embarkation is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and concluding stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Day 7:

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modern outside cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun deck loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise feature the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and potentially lack a French balcony and seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

The beautiful hotel complex is spread over nine small islands, where the various hotel buildings are located. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that instantly puts you in a holiday mood. Double room Superior pool or lagoon view

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) are freshly renovated and are approx. 38 m² in size. The rooms feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (daily refilled with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, safe, and balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's lagoon. Also bookable as a double room for single use (DEU).

Double room Premium side sea view

The rooms (P2D) feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (daily refilled with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, seating area, safe, and balcony or terrace. The rooms have a side sea view and are renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The freshly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but are located in the first row to the beach. Also bookable for single use (BF1).

Family room

The family rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

The Suite Superior (SU2) is similar in amenities to the double rooms Superior but lacks a walk-in shower and is larger (approx. 42 m²).

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers breakfast (7-10:30 a.m.) and dinner (6-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form. Lunch is served in the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the currently open bar. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily refilling of soft drinks).

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or All Inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – completely without additional costs for food (drinks excluded).
