Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.

Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter long lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach into the Red Sea. From there, experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Facilities

Built in a Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and offers 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sq m) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle with tea/coffee making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are more spacious (approx. 28 sq m) and offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single occupancy (PR1).

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sq m) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.

Double Room Superior Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sq m) with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30-9 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet style), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at lunchtime (12-3 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are served to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, Sunset Bar, Dolphin Bar, Lagoon Bar, Lounge Bar, and Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities. The All-inclusive offer is valid daily until midnight.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or All-Inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of your stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
