Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days in accordance with the program. The stay in the hotel before and after the cruise depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be added on site).

Amenities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, which are distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The Premium Deluxe Sea View double rooms (2PM) have the same amenities as the Deluxe double rooms, are larger (approx. 50-58 m²), and are located on the fifth floor. Also bookable for single use (1PM).

Elite Side Sea View Room

The Elite Side Sea View rooms (EL2) have the same amenities as the Deluxe double rooms, but are larger (approx. 63-68 m²). The rooms are located on the fourth or fifth floor.
Also bookable for single use (EL1).
