Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers between locations. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the itinerary may shift.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then proceed back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be added on site).
Day 8:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness room, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a window that cannot be opened.

The Sultan Bey is located directly on one of the many lagoons of El Gouna on a peninsula. The downtown area as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping facilities are approx. 300 m away. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, you will immediately get into a holiday mood. On the opposite island of Zeytouna, there is the beautiful public sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" (bathing shoes recommended), which you can reach with the free shuttle boat. A 400 m long bathing jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", facilitates access to deeper water here. On "Zeytouna Island", the À-la-carte restaurant and sports facilities can be used for a fee. The resort is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. The Hurghada airport is approx. 40 km away.

Facilities

The small and cozy hotel complex is built in a classic Egyptian style. The hotel delights with beautiful courtyards as well as 115 elegantly furnished rooms spread over the main building and several annexes. The hotel features an inviting lobby with a reception, cozy seating areas, and a lobby bar. The main restaurant provides culinary delights with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon. In the well-kept outdoor area, you will find the swimming pool (heated) with an integrated children's pool, as well as sun terraces and the pool/snack bar.
