Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception. Be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available to you. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same facilities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a window that cannot be opened.

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort is located directly on the picturesque, expansive sandy beach of Makadi Bay, about 30 kilometers south of Hurghada. This region is a true paradise for divers and snorkelers. As access to the sea near the shore is rocky, wearing bathing shoes is recommended. A hotel-owned pier leads over the offshore reef into deeper water, allowing comfortable entry into the sea. From there, you can experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea up close. The lively city center of Hurghada, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, is about 35 kilometers away and offers diverse entertainment options. The international airport of Hurghada is also only 30 kilometers away, ensuring a convenient journey.

Facilities

The sprawling Cleopatra Luxury Resort is idyllically nestled in a generous garden complex. In this magnificent environment, several two- to three-story buildings are spread out, housing a total of 531 comfortably furnished rooms. Guests are welcomed in the friendly and spacious reception hall with a reception and lobby bar, which invites you to linger with cozy seating. For culinary pleasures, the buffet restaurant "Soko", which offers international and local cuisine, as well as two exquisite à-la-carte restaurants: "Vista Mare" with Italian specialties and the "Pool Restaurant" with fresh fish and seafood dishes. An Oriental café with a shisha corner and a pub, where cocktails and music ensure a pleasant atmosphere, round off the gastronomic offer. The family rooms (DF2) consist of a Superior double room and a single room with a connecting door, as well as a living area and are about 77 m².

At the beach, there is a water sports station with various offers, including e.g., windsurfing. Additionally, a diving station (Extra-Divers) offers trial diving, diving courses, and much more. For guests who prefer to be active on land, archery is also offered.
