Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with sightseeing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Sightseeing of the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is brightly and elegantly designed and has a front desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Saver Suite

The saver suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The family-friendly SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort delights with an ideal location. The hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own, 400 m long and gently sloping sandy beach. Enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea and the magnificent sunsets here. It is approx. 20 km to the city center of Hurghada. The international airport Hurghada is approx. 15 km away.

Facilities

The beautiful 5-star complex impresses with its oriental style and offers its guests a reception with 24-hour service as well as various shops. The double rooms (D) with a size of approx. 41 m² are nicely and comfortably furnished and have a bathroom with shower, minibar (daily replenishment with water, weekly with soft drinks), Wi-Fi, safe, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), hairdryer, balcony or terrace, and garden or pool view.

These family rooms (2FA) have the same facilities as the double rooms, are the same size (approx. 41 m²), and additionally feature a bunk bed for children (bed length approx. 1.90 m x 1 m), but no separate bedroom.

Junior suite

The comfortably furnished junior suites (JS2) are equipped like the double rooms, have a size of 50 m², and feature a bedroom and an additional living room with two sofa beds.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same facilities as the double rooms but are limited in availability and at a special price. The view is towards the street.
