Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Depending on the embarkation day, the route may vary.
Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the French balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, but possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

With the new water slide park built in 2022, the hotel complex offers a paradise full of fun for the whole family. Whether children or adults, there is something for everyone here. A separate beach section, where the beautiful coastal landscape of the Red Sea invites you to enjoy and relax, is located on the beach of the sister hotel "Dana Beach Resort", 900 m away (shuttle service available free of charge). The complex is located approx. 25 km from Hurghada Downtown and approx. 15 km from the airport.

The Pickalbatros Neverland City Hurghada leaves nothing to be desired. There is something for both young and old water lovers here. Water games and fun are paramount. The new complex has 150 modern rooms, several themed restaurants (all buffet style), various bars, as well as several shops and 6 swimming pools. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. The neighboring hotel "Alf Leila Wa Leila" has an Egyptian museum that guests can use.
The hotel's own Neverland Aqua Park features 85 different water attractions suitable for both young and old guests. Among the water attractions are a surf pool, various water slides, and various splash pools. In addition to the aqua park, highlights include the "Midway Street," which offers an unforgettable holiday experience with eleven further attractions such as a bumper car ride, a pirate ship, or a chain carousel.
