Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning journey to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Journey to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be added on-site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modern, exterior cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright, elegant, and has a front desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner at your disposal. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness center, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have otherwise the same facilities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot drinks. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks and one small bottle of water per person are included.

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a beautiful saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. It is only a few minutes' walk (also accessible by a manually operated ferry) to the small "Downtown" center with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. Various shopping facilities are also located in the immediate vicinity. Guests have free access to the beautiful sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island", located 700 m away. At the beach, a jetty approx. 400 m long, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads over the reef into deeper water. Explore the breathtaking coral reef while snorkeling from here. The complex is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. The airport in Hurghada is about 40 km away.

Facilities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable from 16 years of age) delights guests with a very special style and consists of a three-story main building as well as several annex buildings, where the 144 elegantly furnished rooms are distributed. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with a reception. The stylish restaurant "La Cantina," including an outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon, features a live cooking station and provides you with delicious specialties. Dine Around El Gouna
