Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days in accordance with the program. The preliminary and subsequent hotel stays are dependent on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
At 5 a.m., a balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then it is back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
8th Day:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun deck loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and are otherwise identically equipped to the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) but have otherwise identical amenities to the suites; they may lack a French balcony and seating area, and instead have a window that cannot be opened.

Double room Deluxe

The luxurious double rooms Deluxe (DD2) are approx. 39 m² in size and feature a bathroom with rain shower/WC, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), telephone, safe, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, and a terrace on the land side.

Double room Premium garden view

The double rooms Premium (2GP, approx. 48 m²) have the same amenities as the double rooms and also feature a rooftop terrace with a view of the sunset and offer a garden view.
Also bookable with sea view (2PM) as well as for single use (1GP/1PM).

Junior suite

The junior suites (JS2) range from approx. 42-48 m² in size and feature air conditioning, slippers, hairdryer, bathrobes, a bathroom with rain shower/WC, telephone, safe, and a coffee and tea maker. Furthermore, the suites have a terrace with direct access to the sharing pool and additionally offer a pool and garden view.

Deluxe Swim Up Junior suite

The suites have a living area of approx. 42 m² and feature air conditioning, bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, safe, coffee/tea maker, a workspace, smart design features, and a terrace with a daybed for 2 people and direct access to the sharing pool (DJS).
Also bookable for single use (EJE).
