Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the itinerary may shift.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then it is back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Amenities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed. Indulge in culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same features as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and potentially without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds).
