Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days in accordance with the program. Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.

At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.

7th Day:

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, which are distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served to you at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The comfortably furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The Lexi Swim Up Suite (SWP) is larger (approx. 43 m²) with the same facilities as the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have a terrace with access to the swim-up shared pool. On the terrace, there is a dining table and two separate sun loungers.

Superior Double Room

The unique catering concept offers you breakfast from 7-10:30 a.m., lunch from 1-4 p.m., and dinner from 7-10 p.m. in one of the three à la carte restaurants of the hotel ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the opportunity to have your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". In all four restaurants, a sparkling wine breakfast is included for you. Additionally, dinner can alternatively be taken in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet and Light, Bedouin Restaurant).
