Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is available (optional, bookable on-site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6. Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Amenities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an imposing and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Two bars, one located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck, provide refreshing drinks. On the sun deck, there are also plenty of sun loungers for necessary relaxation as well as a generously designed pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. In addition, all cabins feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single cabin

Same features as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

The rooms (P2D) feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks), coffee/tea maker, seating area, safe, and balcony or terrace. The rooms have a side sea view and are renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The freshly renovated Beachfront Deluxe rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but are located in the first row to the beach. Also bookable for single use (BF1).

Family rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

Suite Superior (HRGA16)

The Suite Superior (SU2) is similar in amenities to the double rooms Superior, but does not have a walk-in shower and is larger at approx. 42m².

Junior Suite

The Junior Suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms but is more spacious (approx. 52 m²) and features an open-plan living area.

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers you breakfast (7-10:30 a.m.) as well as dinner (6-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form. Lunch is offered in the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the respective open bar. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily refill of soft drinks).
ATTENTION: When booking Ultra All Inclusive, the Club Package is not included. It is mandatory to book the meals according to the program so that the Club Package is included.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half-board, full-board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – without any additional costs for the food (drinks excluded).
