Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Departure.

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation, as well as a generously designed pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with belly dancers, Galabeya parties, folklore shows, and a nightly disco.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter-long lagoon with its own stretch of beach in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out onto the Red Sea. From there, experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Built in a Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. In the outdoor area, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water games. Loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge by the pools and on the hotel's own beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also bookable for single occupancy (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms have pool/garden or lagoon views. Also bookable for single occupancy (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same features as the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Double Room Superior Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10:00), lunch (13-15:00), and dinner (18-21:00) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers tea time with various snacks from 4-5 pm. There are also various specialty restaurants: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 am in buffet style), lunch (11 am-3 pm à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 pm à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12-3 pm à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 pm à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 pm à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from a 3 or 4-star hotel can dine in establishments of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
Table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12 pm on the same day) is recommended.
