Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all transfers between locations. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A balloon flight is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
8th Day:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an imposing and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one of which is located on the third deck (lounge bar) and the other on the sun deck. On the sun deck, there are also sufficient sun loungers for necessary relaxation as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. In addition, all cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11 m²) and with only one bed.

Pure Standard Suite Jacuzzi

The approx. 27 m² Pure Standard suites (SAJ), with similar equipment elements as the Jacuzzi suites, are slightly smaller. Some suites have a small balcony with visual privacy screen or terrace and are located on the land side.

Swim Up Suite

The swim-up suites (2SU) have similar equipment to the Jacuzzi suites and offer direct access to the terrace pool (heated in winter) and are more spacious at approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² terrace).

Penthouse

The penthouse suites (P2) located on the upper floors are equipped like the Jacuzzi suites, but are more spacious at approx. 107 m² (incl. 16 m² balcony), with a private living room, private pool (heated in winter), and a breathtaking view over the Red Sea.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) are approx. 27 m² and equipped with shower/WC, espresso machine, TV, Wi-Fi, vanity mirror, safe. The rooms have no Jacuzzi, no balcony, and are located on the land side.

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveler rooms (YTR) are equipped like the super saver rooms and are bookable for young adults aged 18-29. Limited quota and special price.
