Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation day.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Continue from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

5th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then the opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6th Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
8th Day:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Cabin single occupancy

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on a fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada, and about 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

This particularly family-friendly resort features 673 rooms distributed between a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be reached comfortably via the five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants are available ("East & West" - Indian, oriental, and Asian cuisine, "Le Marche" - international, "Culina" - seafood, "Sidi Ali" - oriental cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), diverse bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar" delights with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The double rooms with sea view (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same equipment as the bungalow with garden view, additionally feature a sea view, and are located in the main building.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) feature the same equipment as the bungalow with garden view, are distributed throughout the hotel resort, and have a limited contingent.

The family rooms (DF2) have the same equipment as the bungalow with garden view, but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.

Suite sea view

The suites with sea view (S2M) have the same equipment as the bungalow with garden view, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living room/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² and are equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a view of the garden (DD2/DD3). Optionally also bookable without a specific view (DDA), with pool view and slightly smaller at approx. 24 m² (DPB), towards the sea (approx. 24 m², X2M), or with sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
