Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers between them. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay at the hotel before and after the cruise depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by hot air balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Followed by an opportunity to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The tastefully furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 32 m² and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace.

In addition to the amenities of the Double Superior rooms, the Royal Suite (RS) offers a King Size bed, a private pool (heatable in winter), and a terrace. They are approx. 165 m² and can be occupied by 2 adults.
