Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Excursion by balloon at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Continued journey from Esna.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. This is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

These cabins have the same furnishings as the standard cabins, but are slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and have only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The extensive hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own 400-meter-long sandy beach. There is a jetty at the beach which facilitates access to deeper water and offers ideal conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, Senzo Mall, is about 300 meters away. The center of Hurghada is about 20 km away, and Hurghada International Airport is about 15 km away.

Facilities

Experience water fun for the whole family at the popular 5-star family resort! The complex is nestled in a beautiful and spacious garden landscape. Spend a wonderful family holiday and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The hotel complex, particularly popular with regular guests, has 483 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several three-story buildings. The main building houses the reception, the Sun Ray Lobby Bar, and the Giardino Buffet Restaurant. The extensive and well-maintained garden offers a spacious pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and children's pool with slides; heated in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own aqua park with twelve different water slides (usable from 1.20 m) and a separate area with two children's slides (Octopus, Snake) which will make the hearts of young and old water lovers beat faster.
In addition to the buffet restaurant, the resort offers five delicious à la carte restaurants (Italian, Egyptian, Mongolian, Burger, Fusion cuisine (for a fee), reservations required for all), as well as four further à la carte restaurants at the sister hotel "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace," which can also be used free of charge (reservations required for all). Superior Double Room

The 45 m² tastefully furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) have a telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, minibar (daily refill with water, once a week refill with soft drinks), air conditioning, safe, TV, balcony or terrace.
Also available for single occupancy (DE, DES) or as type I (DI) with special price, limited availability.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with limited availability and a special price.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DPB), with the same amenities as the standard double rooms, are also approx. 45 m² and additionally feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a seating area with a side table, and a dressing table. The rooms have a pool view.
Also available for single occupancy (DPE).
Also available with a side sea view (DDS/EDD) and as type I (DDI) at a special price, limited availability.

Katta's Family Room

Katta Family Rooms (KWF) with bunk beds are bookable as original schauinsland-reisen rooms and appear freshly renovated in Katta style (bookable under KWF and DF2).
The rooms feature additional amenities for children, such as a bunk bed in Katta style, a Katta play area with beanbags and a small table with chairs, and an extra smart TV with HDMI connection, as well as a Katta height chart on the wall. The sockets are also equipped with child safety locks. The bathrooms have towel rails at children's height and a small step in front of the sink. With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are also approx. 45 m².
Also bookable as a double room (FR2).
With 2 adults and 3 children, space is limited.

Katta's Family Suite

Katta's Family Suites (2FS/FMK) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen original rooms and have been renovated.
The suites are approx. 75 m² and consist of two separate bedrooms with a master bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with two single beds, separated by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with a shower. The double rooms with a king-size bed are furnished similarly to the double rooms and have a smart TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with two single beds feature special lighting effects, a dresser with a smart TV and HDMI connection, and a chillout area with a beanbag. The sockets are equipped with child safety locks, and the bathrooms have a small step and child-height towel rails.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not visually represented in Katta's Family Suites.
The family suites can also accommodate up to 4 adults.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 80 m² and consist of a living/sleeping area with extra sleeping facilities and a separate bedroom. The rooms also have a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.
Also bookable for single occupancy (JS1).

The Beach Front rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located in the first row to the beach and have sea views.

Breakfast from 7-10:30 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm (winter)/1-3 pm (summer), dinner from 7-10 pm (summer) 6:30-10 pm (winter), buffet style. Midnight snacks from 10:30 pm to 1 am. Alternatively, dinner can be taken in one of the four à la carte restaurants.
Snacks at the pool bar from 12 pm to 5 pm. Snacks at the Aqua Bar from 12 pm to 4:30 pm and from 12 pm to 5 pm at the Gamila Beach Restaurant. Tea time and pastries from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Sun Ray Lobby Bar.
In the main restaurant, Katta's restaurant area is available for the little ones and offers an extra children's buffet and children's tables.

This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of different PlayStation games, and a sleeping and chillout room for the kids' afternoon nap. In the evening, a children's cinema is available for the children in the Miniclub. Drawing and cooking classes as well as sports activities complete the program. In addition, there is a playground for the little ones, Katta's children's buffet corner in the main restaurant, and a mini water park with a pool. Katta offers a special highlight with his garden: here, the little ones can expect various vegetables that Katta tends to with the young guests.
