Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch and dinner, plus overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam (1, 2, 3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2, 3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1, 2, 3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1, 2, 3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Cabin for single occupancy

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a beautiful saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. It is only a few minutes' walk to the small "Downtown" center with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops (also accessible by a hand-operated ferry). Various shopping options are also in the immediate vicinity. Guests have free access to the beautiful sandy "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island", which is 700 m away. At the beach, an approx. 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads over the reef into deeper water. From here, you can explore the breathtaking coral reef while snorkeling. The complex is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is about 40 km away.

Facilities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) delights with a very special style and consists of a three-story main building and several annexes, which house the total of 144 elegantly furnished rooms. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with a reception. The stylish "La Cantina" restaurant, including an outdoor terrace with lagoon views, features a live cooking station and provides you with delicious specialties.
