Travel information

Combined product featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Continuing from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The luxurious hotel complex is located directly in the heart of Port Ghalib and is situated just approx. 200 m from the beautiful sandy beach. An offshore coral reef offers guests a great opportunity for snorkeling and diving. Entry into the crystal-clear water of the Red Sea is facilitated by a long jetty. The marina with various restaurants and bars is just a few minutes' walk away. Marsa Alam International Airport is only approx. 5 km away.

Facilities

The luxurious hotel complex, built in Arabic style, has 426 modern rooms and features a spacious lobby area with reception. Six restaurants (two with international cuisine and one with Italian cuisine) as well as six bars and a food court ensure your physical well-being. The spacious spa area invites you to rest and relax. In the beautifully landscaped and extensive grounds, there is a pool and a separate children's pool (partially heatable in winter). In addition, the complex offers a large saltwater lagoon that runs through the entire property. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available to guests at the pool and beach free of charge.
The resort includes the largest heated water park in Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam (in the immediate vicinity, incl.). The new aqua park offers 8 water slides for adults and 13 slides for children, ensuring fun for all ages. There are also two large, heated pools with comfortable sun loungers so you can relax between sliding sessions. The Aqua Park is available exclusively to guests of the Pickalbatros Palace, Pickalbatros Sands, and Pickalbatros Oasis Port Ghalib hotels. The park is open from May to October from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and from November to April from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving guests plenty of time to optimize their visit and create lasting memories.
