Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling from there. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. The distance to Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers.

Built in the Nubian village style, the resort delights with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and welcoming reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas. Outside, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for younger guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water games. Sun loungers, towels, and parasols are provided free of charge by the pools and on the hotel's own beach. A main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars, cater to your culinary needs.

With the same facilities as the double rooms but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms have a pool/garden or lagoon view. Also bookable for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same equipment features as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, according to your preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Also available for 3 people (TDS) and for single use (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) have similar equipment features to the Superior double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 35 m²). The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (07:00–10:00), lunch (12:00–14:30), and dinner (18:30–21:00) buffet-style. In addition, the restaurant offers teatime with various snacks from 16:00–17:00. Several specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (07:30–11:00 buffet-style), lunch (11:00–15:00 à la carte for a fee), and evening (18:00–21:00 à la carte for a fee with advance reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12:00–15:00 à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian food (18:30–21:00 à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of different specialties (18:30–21:00 à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half-board, full-board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – at no extra cost for the meal (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer several times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
