Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

1st day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd day:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (can be booked optionally on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd day:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th day:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th day:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.

6th day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be added on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, which are distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served to you by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small gym, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sundeck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same facilities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy suite

The economy suites (S2Z), with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a hotel-owned beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world there while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Facilities

Built in the Nubian village style, the resort delights with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms, which are distributed over several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the resort. In the outdoor area, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for the little guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Comfort double room (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been completely renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, electric kettle as well as tea/coffee making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool view and garden view. Premium Room (PR2)

The cozy family rooms feature the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior double room

The newly bookable superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the location of the room in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your wish. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, an electric kettle, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Additionally, the restaurant offers teatime with various snacks from 04-05 pm. Furthermore, various specialty restaurants are available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (07:30-11 am in buffet form), lunch (11 am-03 pm as à-la-carte for a fee), as well as in the evening (06-09 pm as à-la-carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at lunch (12-03 pm as à-la-carte).
