The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a private beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15-minute ride) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends into the Red Sea. From there, you can experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 meters away. Hurghada Airport is about 25 kilometers away.

Facilities

Built in Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area includes four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. For the younger guests, there are also four children's pools, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine Around program offers guests on half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine at hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12 PM on the same day) is recommended.
