Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Temple of Luxor (1,2,3) and the Temple of Karnak (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Temple of Karnak (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

Luxor Museum

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and the three bars on board serving refreshing drinks. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also has a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the Suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) than the Suites with otherwise the same amenities, but possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a window that cannot be opened.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a private beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes by boat) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is about 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away.

Built in the Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and offers 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, Aqua Splash Pool with four different water slides, Dolphin Pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, bath towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and the hotel's private beach. For your culinary well-being, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer a pool/garden or lagoon view. Also bookable for single occupancy (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a garden view or a refreshing pool view. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your preference. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm). The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00), and dinner (18:00-21:00) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers afternoon tea with various snacks from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. There are also several specialty restaurants: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (07:30-11:00 buffet style), lunch (11:00-15:00 à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (18:00-21:00 à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12:00-15:00 à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (18:30-21:00 à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (18:30-21:00 à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests on half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12:00 PM on the same day) is recommended.
