Travel information

Combination package including a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon flight is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins, spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an imposing and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one of which is located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. On the sun deck, there are also sufficient sun loungers for necessary relaxation as well as a generously designed pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. In addition, all cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single cabin

Same facilities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

A saltwater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully designed garden area to the reception building and can be traveled by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish reception hall with front desk, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, Oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features three swimming pools with integrated children's areas (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. A brand new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built Aqua Park with 18 different slides for young and old (11 for adults and 7 for children), which will add an extra dose of excitement and action to your holiday. Double Superior lagoon view "Chillout"

The rooms (SL2) are equipped like the double rooms, but larger (approx. 45 m²) and have a lagoon view. On the lawn in front of the residential building, there are Bali beds, which offer an exclusive chillout option for guests of these rooms. Also bookable for single use (SL1).

The double rooms superior sea view (DMU) have the same facilities as the double rooms superior pool view, but with a sea view.

The double rooms deluxe correspond to the double rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite sea view (HRGA07)

The suites have a size of approx. 65m² and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general facilities of the suites include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, as well as a balcony or terrace (S2M).
