Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Thursday
The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation day.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Afterward, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Followed by an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and explore. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single Cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The outdoor area features three swimming pools with an integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. Double Room Deluxe (HRGA07)

The Double Room Deluxe corresponds to the double rooms and is bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea View (HRGA07)

The suites are approx. 65 m² and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. General amenities of the suites include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, as well as balcony or terrace (S2M).
