Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable locally).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon departure to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3).
Continued cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then departure back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, the ship sails to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterward, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins, which are distributed over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an imposing and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Refreshing drinks are provided by two bars, one of which is located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. On the sun deck, there are also sufficient sun loungers for necessary relaxation as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same facilities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
In the outdoor area, there are three swimming pools with integrated children's area (two of which can be heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. A brand new highlight of the pool area is the newly built aqua park with 18 different slides for young and old (11 for adults and 7 for children), which will add an extra portion of excitement and action to your holiday. The rooms (SL2) are equipped like the double rooms, but larger (approx. 45 m²) and have lagoon view. On the lawn area in front of the residential building, there are Bali beds that offer an exclusive chillout option for guests of these rooms. Also bookable for single occupancy (SL1).

The double rooms Deluxe correspond to the double rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea View (HRGA07)

The suites have a size of approx. 65m² and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general equipment of the suites includes Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, as well as balcony or terrace (S2M).
