Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).
8th Day:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright, elegant, and features a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights at the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small gym that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise feature the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same features as the suites but are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) and potentially without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, is located in the first beach row of Hurghada on one of the most popular coastal stretches in the region. The spacious facility is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise water. Together with the two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is located directly on the „ALDAU Art Promenade“ with various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. It is approximately 10 km to the bustling center of Hurghada, the famous "Sakalla". Hurghada Airport is approx. 6 km away.

Facilities

The spacious hotel is equipped with over 400 modern suites, the majority of which have a direct sea view. A luxurious and open reception hall awaits you with a reception desk, seating areas, and two lobby bars. In the outdoor area of the facility, there is an extensive pool landscape covering over 5,000 m³ with a more than 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that flows through the facility, as well as a seawater pool (heatable) and a "Jacuzzi Island" (for ages 16+). Superior Suite Sea View

The Superior Suites (DM2/DAM approx. 50 m²) feature a sea view. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom with separate shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, RFID door lock, minibar (with daily refill of water and soft drinks), limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, espresso machine, coffee and tea station with daily refill (each free of charge), telephone, safe, satellite TV (large flatscreen), and balcony with chaise lounge.

Superior Suite Sea View 4th Floor

The schauinsland-reisen original rooms (DLM), with the same amenities as the Superior Suite Sea View, are guaranteed to be located on the 4th floor, thus offering a breathtaking view of the sea.
