Route description:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You will then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues sailing to Luxor.
Once there, you will have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There will be an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked additionally on site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and includes a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The balconies of the Royal Suites also include a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the Suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the Suites, and may not have a French balcony and a seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel belonging to the renowned Jaz Hotel group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with beautiful views of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity, you will find Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The water park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in beautiful gardens and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. For culinary diversity, in addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area features a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are slightly more spacious at approx. 47 sqm and feature an additional sitting/sleeping area separated from the rest of the room by a curtain. Also available at an extra charge with pool view (FUP) or sea-facing (FY2).

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms, with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional sitting/sleeping area separated from the rest of the room by a curtain. Also available as Double Deluxe (DD2). In this room type, the sitting/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door. Also available with pool view for an additional charge (FPD).

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sqm) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs, with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms. The Junior Suites have 56 sqm. They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.
