Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (can be booked optionally on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning, continue cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon, Felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit to a Nubian Village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. Starting from winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z), with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

The Albatros Makadi Resort is located in the popular Makadi Bay. The Albatros Makadi Resort is only approx. 35 km from Hurghada International Airport. The hotel, in a prime location, is situated directly on a 600-meter-long white sandy beach and offers perfect conditions for swimming. The offshore house reef offers ideal opportunities and conditions for snorkeling to explore the beautiful and colorful underwater world of the Red Sea.

Facilities

The fully refurbished resort features 869 spacious rooms distributed across several buildings. Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Culinary well-being is taken care of by six buffet restaurants and two snack restaurants (Asian, Oriental, Italian, Seafood, Steakhouse, etc.) as well as five bars.

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds).
