The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Royal Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the Suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

The beautiful hotel complex, opened at the end of 2021, is located in the heart of Makadi Bay, next to the popular sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (HRG223). The resort is situated directly on the beachfront, close to the bay's most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots, offering the opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the gently sloping beach.
The city center of Hurghada is approximately 37 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 32 km away.

Facilities

The Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 240 rooms and suites spread across various building complexes. With its unique and high-quality dining concept, the hotel stands out in Egypt, offering a selection of three in-house à la carte restaurants ("Lucina" - international cuisine, "Gaia" - Italian cuisine, and "Yades" - Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The "Posh Club Lounge" à la carte restaurant is exclusively available to Posh Club members and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additionally, guests of the "SUNRISE Tucana Resort Grand Select" can use the eight à la carte restaurants of the sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" free of charge, offering a diverse selection in the evening. The Felucca, which offers fish and seafood, is available for a fee. There are also a total of eight different bars. The "Posh Club Lounge" is exclusively for Posh Club members. Lexi Swim Up Suite Poolview

The Lexi Swim Up Suite (SWP) is larger than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 43 sqm) with the same amenities. The rooms have a terrace with access to the shared swim-up pool. The terrace is equipped with a dining table and two separate sun loungers.
Please note that your booked room has direct access to the shared pool, and there is no lifeguard on duty.
If booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for their supervision.

Superior Double Room

The cheerfully furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 35 sqm) are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, and balcony or terrace.

The Junior Suites Garden View (JS2) are larger than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 43 sqm) with the same amenities and have a terrace. Also bookable for single use/with child (JS1/J1K).

Junior Suite Jacuzzi

The Junior Suites Jacuzzi (2JJ, approx. 36 sqm) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with a private Jacuzzi outside on the terrace.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1JJ).

Junior Suite Swim Up

The Junior Suites Swim Up (SUJ) are more spacious than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 43 sqm) with a small seating area and direct access to the shared swim-up pool.
Also bookable for single occupancy (SJE).
Please note that your booked room has direct access to the shared pool, and there is no lifeguard on duty.
If booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for their supervision.

Executive Pool & Jacuzzi Suite

The Suites (X2S) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 100 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, a living/sleeping area, and a terrace. The rooms have a Jacuzzi and a small private pool.
Please note that your booked room has a private pool, and there is no lifeguard on duty.
If booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for their supervision.

The Executive Suite Jacuzzi partial sea view (2XE) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are approx. 100 sqm, and consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living/sleeping area. The rooms have either a balcony with a Jacuzzi or an indoor Jacuzzi.

Executive Pool Suite

The Executive Pool Suites partial sea view (2SS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, are approx. 90-100 sqm, and consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living/sleeping area. The rooms have a terrace with access to a private pool.

Tucana Pool Suite partial sea view

The Tucana Pool Suites (PSW) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50-65 sqm), with a king-size bed, bathroom with shower, access to a private outdoor shower (partially enclosed and not visible), seating area, and terrace with access to the private pool. The suites have a partial sea view.

The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1 PM to 4 PM, and dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to enjoy your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge." A sparkling wine breakfast is included for you in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can optionally be taken in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet and Light, Bedouin Restaurant). The "Lucina" à la carte restaurant is open 24 hours as a snack bar (alcoholic beverages are not served between 6 AM and 10 AM). The Felucca is available for a fee.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available around the clock at one of the eight bars.
