Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan. The excursion packages listed below can, of course, still be booked.

Depending on the embarkation day, the itinerary may shift.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sq m and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sq m). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sq m and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only a single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sq m) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and without a seating area.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the Iberotel Costa Mares belongs to the renowned Jaz Hotel Group. The coral reef in front of the hotel offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the best-known spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026 Adult only from 16 years!) has a total of 208 rooms, distributed in the main building and annexes. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a fitness studio, various shops, and a spa area. For culinary delights, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, and the "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (with a minimum stay of 7 nights, both restaurants are included once a week - subject to availability - reservation required), as well as several bars.
In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter).
Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Beach and bath towels are provided fresh in the rooms daily.

The Double Superior Bay View (SVB) rooms are 29 sq m and feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, coffee and tea making facilities, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.
Also bookable with sea view (DMU) or for single occupancy (V1S/EMU).

Superior Family Room Garden View

The Superior Family Rooms Garden View (F2S) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms (29 sq m), but with an additional sofa bed. The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites Sea View (J2M) are equipped like the Double Superior, but are larger (120 sq m) and have direct sea views.

Deluxe Family Room Pool or Sea View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Pool or Sea View (FMD) have the same amenities as the Double Superior Bay View but are larger (approx. 45 sq m).
The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Deluxe Family Room Bay View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Bay View (BDV) are approx. 46 sq m and consist of 2 rooms with an interconnecting door, with garden or beach view, otherwise with the same amenities as the Double Superior.

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7-10:30 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:30-9 pm (winter) and 7-9:30 pm (summer) as a buffet in the main restaurant. Late risers' breakfast is available from 10:30-11:30 am at the beach bar. Lunchtime snacks available from 1 pm to 4 pm with ice cream, coffee/tea, and cake. Selected local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 am to 12 am. Imported alcoholic beverages are not included in the All Inclusive. Once per stay, the à la carte restaurant at the beach restaurant is included per person (subject to prior reservation and availability).
