Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the departure flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Depending on the embarkation day, the itinerary may shift.
Itinerary:
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A balloon flight is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1, 2, 3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1, 2, 3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2, 3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1, 2, 3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1, 2, 3) and the Karnak Temple (1, 2, 3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).
8th Day:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same features as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same features as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, instead featuring a non-opening window.
