Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Continue from Esna.

In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single cabin

The JAZ Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its turtle habitat and has a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday home is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the property. These include various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, noble design and was designed very spaciously. The impressive reception area offers direct sea views of the resort and the bay, and features a front desk with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that runs through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heatable in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge in the pool area and on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

The friendly furnished Superior double rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. Also bookable with pool (DSP), side sea (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Superior double room sea view guaranteed top floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and feature sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Superior Swim-up double room advantage room

The Superior Swim-up double rooms (DWP) feature the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following amenities exclusive to schauinsland-reisen:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the room
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, additional 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included one extra time (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.

The main restaurant “Marasi Restaurant” offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-02:30 p.m.), and dinner (07-10 p.m.) in buffet form. In addition, a late riser breakfast is available from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Furthermore, guests have two à la carte restaurants at their disposal (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but subsequently available for a fee: “Tao Tao” restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant “Bay View” offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 p.m. to 05 p.m. Various bars offer refreshing drinks and snacks throughout the day, such as “La Vista Pool Snack Bar” (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), “Splash Pool Bar”, “Fantasia Lobby Bar”, and “Bay View Beach Bar” (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
