Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers between locations. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian Village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then proceed back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Arriving there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modern, elegantly furnished exterior cabins spread across multiple decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and includes a front desk. Indulge in culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small gym, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot beverages. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks and one small bottle of water per person are included.

The newly opened resort JAZ Amara, opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section on the first beach line of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for the settlement of turtles and has a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday domicile is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the entire area. Among these are various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, noble design and was conceived very spaciously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and has a front desk with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that runs through the complex. You can expect seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge to guests in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

The friendly furnished double rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED-TV, as well as a minibar. The rooms are each equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. In addition, there is a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable with pool (DSP), side sea (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Double Room Superior Sea View guaranteed top floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen-Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the double rooms Superior and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Superior Swim-up Advantage Room

The double rooms Superior Swim-up (DWP) have the same features as the double rooms Superior, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following amenities, exclusive to Schauinsland-Reisen:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: Coffee/tea maker in the room, additional 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- The use of the à la carte restaurants is included one extra time (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are only included once).

The main restaurant “Marasi Restaurant” offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-02:30 p.m.), and dinner (07-10 p.m.) in buffet form. In addition, a late riser breakfast is available there from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Furthermore, guests have two à la carte restaurants at their disposal (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are for a fee thereafter: “Tao Tao” restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as, among others, sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant “Bay View” offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 p.m. to 05 p.m. Various bars offer refreshing drinks and snacks throughout the day, such as “La Vista Pool Snack Bar” (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), “Splash Pool Bar”, “Fantasia Lobby Bar”, and “Bay View Beach Bar” (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
