Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon flight is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small gym, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may not have a French balcony or seating area, featuring instead a non-opening window.

The newly opened JAZ Amara Resort, which opened in December 2023, is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for its turtle population and features a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday domicile is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants can be found at the harbor of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread across the entire property. These include various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, noble design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and features a reception desk with various seating options as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area features a large pool landscape that runs through the complex. The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the superior double rooms and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

The superior swim-up double rooms (DWP) feature the same amenities as the superior double rooms, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also feature the following exclusive amenities at schauinsland-reisen:

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-02:30 p.m.), and dinner (07-10 p.m.) in buffet form. In addition, a late riser breakfast is available there from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Furthermore, guests have two à-la-carte restaurants at their disposal (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are for a fee thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à-la-carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine.
