Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1, 2, 3) including a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, travel to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1, 2, 3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1, 2, 3).

Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2, 3), breakfast box is included.
Then continue back to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1, 2, 3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1, 2, 3) and the Karnak Temple (1, 2, 3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness center that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), sitting area, and a French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no sitting area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a sitting area, but with a window that does not open.

The newly opened JAZ Amara resort (opened December 2023) is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping stretch of beach in the first beach row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly well-known for its turtle population and features a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday domicile is located about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

Facilities

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the entire facility. Among these are various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and has been designed very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort as well as the bay and features a reception desk with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that stretches through the facility. You can expect seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heatable in winter). Sun loungers and parasols are available to guests free of charge in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the facility has a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida-Spa (for a fee). Double room Superior sea view guaranteed top floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the double rooms Superior and feature a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be located on the top floor of the hotel and thus offer a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Double room Superior Swim-up advantage room

The double rooms Superior Swim-up (DWP) feature the same amenities as the double rooms Superior, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also have the following amenities exclusive to schauinsland-reisen:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: Coffee/tea maker in the room, additionally 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arab pastries.

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (07-10 a.m.), lunch (12:30-02:30 p.m.), and dinner (07-10 p.m.) in buffet style. In addition, a late riser breakfast is available there from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Furthermore, guests have access to two à la carte restaurants (reservation required), which are included three times per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are for a fee thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The à la carte restaurant "Bay View" offers Mediterranean fine-dining cuisine. Tea time is offered from 12:30 p.m. to 05 p.m. Various bars offer different refreshments and snacks during the day, such as "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", as well as "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages).
