The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The spacious resort is located directly on the hotel's private sand/pebble beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport.
The gently sloping beach allows for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, a long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can explore the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

Facilities

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - International Cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - Seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants and various bars, and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which can be heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heated in winter) offers fun for young and old.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

Double Superior Room

The modern Double Superior rooms (DSU, approx. 42-45 sqm) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable at an extra charge with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU).
Under RMFA49 also bookable as single occupancy with garden view (DSE), as single occupancy with pool view (DST), and as single occupancy with sea view (DME).

Deluxe Family Room Garden View

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 sqm) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with single beds and a sofa bed, and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable at an extra charge with pool view (XF2).

Royal Suite Swim Up Pool View

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 sqm and have a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and a terrace with direct access to the shared swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
