Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning continue cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.

Day 7:

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a front desk. Indulge your culinary cravings in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are at your disposal. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), sitting area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no sitting area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a sitting area, but with a non-opening window.

The spacious resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/shingle beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km away from Marsa Alam airport.
Thanks to the gently sloping beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, a long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

Facilities

The large newly opened hotel complex consists of 514 rooms. The cozy and charmingly furnished complex features a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - international cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants, various bars, and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter) and 3 children's pools (two of which are heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with 32 water slides (11 for adults and 21 for children; partially heated in winter) offers fun for young and old.
Sun loungers, parasols, cushions, and towels are free of charge at the pool and beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

Double room Superior

The modern Double Superior (DSU, approx. 42-45m²) are equipped with a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU) for an extra charge.
Under RMFA49 also bookable for single occupancy with garden view (DSE), for single occupancy with pool view (DST), and for single occupancy with sea view (DME).

Family room Deluxe garden view

The modern rooms (2FS, approx. 70 m²) consist of a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bedroom with single beds, and a sofa bed, and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (XF2) for an extra charge.

Royal Suite Swim Up pool view

The Royal Suites (SWP) are approx. 105 m² and feature a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water included), safe, kettle, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace with direct access to the communal swim-up pool. The rooms have two bedrooms.
(Additional quota bookable under RMFA49 as Royal Suite Type B (RZ3)).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access represent an increased safety hazard for small children.
Therefore, for security reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for bookings of these room types at schauinsland-reisen.

Double room Deluxe (RMFA49)

The double rooms Deluxe are equal in size and facilities to the double rooms (DD2). Also bookable with pool view (DBP) and with sea view (DDM).

Bungalow Deluxe sea view (RMFA49)

The Bungalow Deluxe are approximately 35m² in size and are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, flat-screen TV, balcony or terrace, and have a sea view (2BM).

Superior Bungalow sea view (RMFA49)

The Superior Bungalows are similar in facilities to the Bungalow Deluxe but are larger at approx. 45m² (2UB).
